METROPOLITAN FASHION WEEK (MFW), the most fashionable week in Hollywood, partners with Warner Bros. Studios to kick off its fourth annual festivities with a series of couture and costume presentations, a benefit show supporting Autism Speaks and its first ever fashion awards. Held
September 22 - October 1, 2016 at Warner Bros. Studios and various locations throughout Los Angeles, MFW will be hosted and produced by
Eduardo Khawam, fashion expert, producer and TV personality for Telemundo and Univision.
Metropolitan Fashion Week kicks off with the Opening Ceremony & Costume Contest at
The Original Farmers Market Los Angeles on Thursday, September 22. Designers will showcase costume and fashion creations inspired by The Original Farmers Market and uniquely made of candy. The audience will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite design. The top three winners will have the opportunity to participate in the Closing Gala Fashion Show.
MFW will produce La Vie en Blue, a Parisian-style benefit fashion gala to support the Southern California chapter of
Autism Speaks on Thursday, September 29. Hosted at Warner Bros. Studios, this haute couture fashion and costume extravaganza promises to be a spectacular evening of philanthrophy, fundraising and autism awareness and will include a runway show, auction and live performances. Special honorees include
Harry Topping Jr., Senior VP of City National Bank and
Steven Grossman, Talent Manager and Producer for Untitled Entertainment. For tickets and info, visit

MFW's final event, the Closing Gala and Fashion Awards, will take place Saturday, October 1 at Warner Bros. Studios, which will recognize outstanding contributions in costume design, celebrity styling and more. The Metropolitan Fashion Excellence Award categories include Costume Designer of the Year (Motion Pictures), Costume Designer of the Year (TV), Costume Designer of the Year (Live Performance), Celebrity Stylist of the Year, Fashion Program of the Year, Fashion Commentator of the Year, Fashion Blogger of the Year, Outstanding Ensemble for Make-Up Artist Artist and Hair Stylist and Lifetime Achievement Award.
