Will Brahm

It's rare to find a musician as diverse as Will Brahm. Whether he's playing jazz in "The Los Angeles Jazz Collective" or covering contemporary songs with "New West Guitar," Brahm is a master at his craft. Brahm's latest endeavor is his own highly textured band, Homenaje, which features lush Cuban and African influences.

Brahm is an old soul, inspired by many things around him. "Life experiences, joy, pain, love, nature, feelings, people and places...all inspire me. Hollywood is a cultural melting pot and my music thrives off the diversity here. It is one of the best places to live for this reason; cultural diversity is ESSENTIAL for my craft."

He continued: "My head is always full of emotions and thoughts. I think over current and past experiences; the music that I write is the soundtrack to my life." It's the only thing worth writing about for me!

Brahm's favorite musicians include Israeli/New York jazz guitarist Gilad Hekselman ("very spiritual and in depth") and classical composers such as Bach, Schumann, Chopin, and John Dowland. "They are the roots of melodic music that brings us amazing feelings and transports us to different places," he enthused.

Homenaje's "La Mariposa y el Mentiroso," ("The Butterfly and the Liar") was just released on iTunes.

Anthony Pazos

Ready for a new look? Makeovers can sound like a daunting task. But Hollywood hairstylist, Anthony Pazos believes you gain so much more than just a better physical appearance. "In the process you learn more about yourself and develop a better sense of you. It's amazing how changes in hair, make up, and style can elevate and build your own self confidence. I've seen this first hand with my all my clients including celebrities."

Because we live in a world that is aesthetically driven, "first impressions are very important," said Pazos. "Doesn't matter if it a first date or a job interview. You want to make an impact that someone will remember, and your physical appearance plays an integral part."

Pazos recommends getting your hair color done every six weeks by a licensed professional. "You look great and it uplifts your look, while taking years off your appearance. The confidence from having your hair freshly done gets you out there to accomplish your dreams. If you are doing your color at home, make sure you have products which are free of sulfates and parabens to ensure the upkeep of your look in between salon visits.

For the past four seasons, Pazos was one of the stylists on WE TV's LA Hair. Next month, you can check him out on his new series on Bravo.
