Julia Sweeney, actress, comedian, and author, is returning to The Groundlings stage with her newest solo show, Older & Wider, for one night only, on Tuesday, March 5th at 8:00 p.m.
The 90-minute stand-up comedy act previously opened in Chicago in April 2018 to great reviews before heading to Los Angeles this month to a sold-out run at the Geffen Playhouse.
Sweeney, best known for her role as a cast member on Saturday Night Live, got her comedic chops with The Groundlings, where she began to develop characters which she would later bring to the stage, film, and television. Julia has created and performed three autobiographical monologues,
God Said Ha!, In the Family Way, and
Letting Go of God.
