Baz Luhrnan's Elvis is as great as Priscilla Presley said... I attended a screening at the luxurious Cinelounge on Sunset & enjoyed it immensely! Austin Butler is really fantastic as Elvis! My guest Y&R Star Kate Linder noted "I was fortunate to see Elvis at the Cinelounge. It's a fabulous, clean & comfortable theater. Don't miss Elvis - I rarely say this but it was so good that I definitely want to see it again". Me too, me too! Plus their staff is very nice & their gourmet popcorn is delicious! Thank you Phil Sokoloff PR for the invite!

The 4K Digital Restoration of George Stevens' GIANT was held at The Fine Arts Theater. It was a fabulous evening which began with an interesting Q&A hosted by A.M.P.A.S.'s Randy Haberkamp featuring Warner Brothers restoration executives Daphne Deltz and George Feltenstein. The classic film nominated for 10 Academy Awards looks terrific and stars legends Elizabeth Taylor, Rock Hudson and James Dean in his final role. VIP guests included Priscilla Presley's lovely sister Michelle Beaulieu, her handsome son actor Kash Hovey, lovely actresses Kate Linder and Diana Angelina and dapper Tim Mendelson who oversees Elizabeth Taylor's estate. The beautiful restoration was made possible by Martin Scorcese's Film Foundation, Steven Spielberg and TCM. Thanks to Shawn Far, Fine Arts Theatre owner and Michael S. Hall, president and founder of Screening Services Group (theatre operator). It was a beautiful Classic Hollywood night long to be remembered - thank you Steve Moyer PR.
Kudos to the acting talent at Gloria Gifford's Conservatory - I attended opening nite of their 3 one acts in Hollywood which was fantastic! The riveting one-acts were Moony's Kid Don't Cry and Twenty-Seven Wagons Full of Cotton by my favorite Tennesse Williams and Lou Gehrig Did Not Die of Cancer by Jason Miller. All the performers were STELLAR !!
